About Project
The main idea of this project was to show the form and function of an object. As well as the mechanical components behind an object or item to show its purpose. The bridge serves as an object that has form and a mechanical function which gives it purpose. The bridge needed to have a moving component that allowed a 30'x40' best to safely clear and go through.

What this mechanism does the cable in the bridge arch coils up which is connected to the hinge on land which then pulls the bridge door in towards land.
